Mark Tafoya
Mark made his way down from the very top of Manhattan, where he lives, to hunt Fugitives downtown in the Village. But Mark, an actor by trade, says he knows the streets of today's neighborhood and is ready to track 'em down. "I think it's about getting the clue early and beating them to the punch," Mark says. He just finished filming the indie film, "Raw," a dark exploration of unsafe sex in the year 2000.

WHAT IS THE WEBHUNTER?
The webHunter is the eyes, ears, and dreams of the Internet viewing public. Each day, Command will select one person to spend a day on the streets, tracking the Fugitive for viewers at home or work, who cannot, for reasons of time, space, or mind, canvas the City themselves. The webHunter is equipped with a wireless communications device through which s/he will receive email from viewers who think they know the whereabouts of a Fugitive. If the webHunter catches a Fugitive, s/he will split the prize money with the viewer who sent the tip that led to capture. The webHunter is your friend.

• I'm standing in front of the Virgin Megastore, and Bob Dylan's album is the display out front. I'm sure she was here just a few minutes ago. I'm a little tired, but exciting. I'm cold on Zoe's trail. I feel like that guy in the Incredible Hulk who would always show up a minute after Bruce Banner transformed into the Hulk, and he'd be left standing there with a grimace on his face, having only found a ripped piece of cloth. I'm just gonna chill in the Virgin Megastore.

• Was thinking about karma on the way down here...my good karma from Jason brought me within a block of Zoe...at Easy Everywhere, the internet superstore now...gonna try the Port Authority bowling alley.

• High noon in the city...a surreal display window makeover demo has made me leave Bloomies, the trail cold...heading west on 57th to scour the holiday shoppers in midtown...ran into 2 friends, who think I'm crazy. One of them named Chad...I left him hanging.

• Making my way uptown...hold up in tunnel... I'm sure she caught the one just before this one...peeking out at each stop for a moptophead or a dark ski-capped pixie. I hope she gets off at 59th or Grand Central.
